Autunm wild havest
Autumn is a great time at the end of the summer season for foraging. It's a time when the summers sun and life have been soaked up by flora and fauna giving us an abundance of fruits, nuts and berries.
My personal favourite activity at this time of year is using what nature has to offer and turning it into preserves, wines and cordials.
Berries like elderberry and BlackBerry lend themselves to tasty wines as well as lesser known berries like rosehip seabuckthorn and hore berries.
Over the next month I will be posting up my favourite autumn berry recipes for you to have a read and leave your comments. Stay tuned!
